Winter Road Trip to Kashmir - 7 Days

They said, “If there’s heaven on earth, it’s here, it’s here, it’s here”

And we realised that it’s time to leave in search of that heaven, to see this wonderland we’ve always heard about in stories, seen in pictures of various travellers, and lived through the anecdotes of our friends from this magic

And so began the idea of a road trip to Kashmir, a trip where we’ll begin to familiarise ourselves with the idea of Kashmir, while witnessing its unparalleled beauty in the company of locals who call this land their home, and carry all its quirks within their soul.

On this journey, we arrive in Kashmir during winters, with the spells of snowfall, and the sights of Snowclad valleys and peaks, where we’ll walk through snowy grasslands in search of a sight still unseen for most out there.

We will learn about the intricacies of life in Kashmir, enjoy the wonderfully unique cuisine in their homes, ride the Shikara through dal, live in a houseboat in Kashmir, experience the snowy slopes of Gulmarg, the world-famous skiing destination, live through the magic of Pahalgam, with a visit to its carefully hidden secrets, and all of it with the help of our friends there, with their warm conversations leading us on to the most mesmerising of the moments.

So that when we return home, we would tell them once again, “That if there’s heaven on earth, it’s here, it’s here, it’s here.”
