You might lose track of time listening to monks speak about Buddhism, sit beside an Amchi learning the wisdom of Himalayan medicine, help local farmers in their fields, or simply stop because the light over the mountains asks you to.

The destination is Spiti.

Leading this expedition is Abhinav Chandel (@AbhiandNow), one of India’s most celebrated storytellers, photographers and writers. A former city dweller who chose the mountains over everything else, Abhinav has spent years discovering hidden corners of the Himalayas and sharing their stories through his words and photographs.

In 2016, Abhinav Chandel and Spiti Holiday Adventure came together to create something that had never been attempted before. A journey without a fixed itinerary. A small group of explorers. One valley. Endless possibilities.

What began as an experiment became a tradition. Now, as we welcome the 8th Edition, the philosophy remains unchanged.
